The 7 Islands tour is B2K's newest expedition — and the one that makes most sense for riders who want a proper adventure without the intensity of the Bali to Komodo route. Thirteen days, seven islands, three distinct environments: the lush volcanic roads of Bali, the crystalline waters and coral reefs of the Gili Islands, and the dramatic sea cliffs of the Nusa Islands. You ride where you can, take boats where you can't, and let the pace of the islands do the rest.
Unlike the Bali to Komodo challenge, this tour is designed around balance — long ride days alternate with free time on the water. It attracts riders who also want to snorkel, freedive, watch sunsets from clifftops, and wake up to beaches that are genuinely empty.
New for 2026. This route was developed after multiple riders asked for a tour that combined adventure riding with the best of Bali's tropical environment. It's a real motorcycle tour — not a scooter holiday.
The Three Island Blocks
The tour is structured in three distinct phases, each with its own character:
North coast roads, the volcanic highlands, rice terraces, temple routes. Bali without the tourist crowds — the island you see when you leave the main resorts behind and ride toward the interior.
Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, Gili Air. The only motorised vehicles here are the boats that connect them. Rest days, snorkelling, fresh seafood, and the clearest water you've seen. The bikes wait on Lombok.
Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Ceningan. Sea cliffs, Devil's Tear, Kelingking Beach. Roads that cling to the edges of the island with the ocean 200 metres below. The most dramatic riding of the tour.
Transport Options & Prices
This tour offers four transport configurations. The riding experience is identical — the difference is whether you share a bike or prefer your own, and whether you want a driver for certain island sections.

Difficulty & Who It's For
Listed as Advanced — but this refers to the experience level, not the technicality of the riding. The roads in Bali and the Nusas are on tarmac. What makes it advanced is the combination of long days, boat transfers with bikes, and some sections of narrow coastal road where focus is required.
If you've done the Bali to Komodo tour or have significant guided touring experience, this will feel comfortable. If you're newer to guided touring, we recommend starting with the Bali to Komodo Intermediate route first.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes — the Car + Driver option was specifically designed for this. Several groups include one rider and one non-riding partner. The non-rider joins every activity — boat transfers, island exploration, meals — and has a private car for the road sections.
Motorcycles travel on the same ferries as cargo and local transport — a normal part of island life in Indonesia. The bikes are loaded at the port, you board as a passenger, and you ride off on the other side. It takes between 20 minutes and 2 hours depending on the crossing.
The Gili Islands are officially motorised-vehicle-free. The bikes stay on Lombok for 3–4 days while you explore the Gilis by foot, bike (pedal) and boat. It's the natural rest period in the tour — the change of pace is part of the design.
The Bali to Komodo Challenge is more intense — longer riding days, more remote terrain, crossing to Sumbawa and Flores. The 7 Islands tour is more balanced, with the ocean and tropical environment playing as big a role as the riding. They attract different riders, though many eventually do both.
